Gown Hemming Prices

  •  Most simple hems are based on circumference of skirt including linings/petticoats

  Hem 0-50 inches $25, 51-100 inches $30, 101-150 inches $35, 151-200 inches $40

201-250 inches $45, 251-300 inches $50, 301-350 inches $55, 351-400 inches $60

  •  Wedding Gowns with multiple full layers start at $100

  • Removal and replacement of lace, beads, trim, horse hair or appliques for any hem is $30/hour on top of the $100.

  •  Shorten from waist starts at $75

Gown fitting prices involving Designer outer and lining layer:

  •  Spaghetti strap (neck or back) adjustment $9 per strap

  • Shoulder seams start at $37, w/sleeve $47

  • Bodice seams start at $42 with lining $47 (multiple bodice seams will be prorated due to access to the seams is done with the first alteration)

  • Skirt seams in or out start at $42 with lining $47

  • Bra Cups $20 (this includes labor)

Gown fitting alterations with lace, beads, trim, horse hair or appliques is $30/hour

Customizing prices:

  •  Re-Styling $30/hour plus cost of additional material required

  • Add bustle $25 for 1st connection, $15 each additional connection (a bustle averages between $75 to $175)

  • Add Belt or sash $20 labor – you supply belt

  • Replace closure with Corset –  starts at $50 plus materials

  • Adding or Removal and replacement of lace, beads, trim, horse hair, zipper or appliques for any alteration is $30/hour during customized projects.

Gown Steaming

  • Complementary: Minimal steaming for altered area

  • Simple/Minimalist Gowns: $50 – $85. Applies to basic sheath, column, or clean A-line gowns made of stable fabrics (like heavy crepe) with no train or embellishments.

  • Standard/Intricate Gowns: $100 – $150. Applies to dresses with lace overlays, moderate trains, delicate tulle layers, or light beadwork.

  • Ballgowns & Heavy Trains: $150 – $200+. For cathedral-length trains, heavy satin, or multi-layered organza gowns that require extensive time and precision.

Payment is due at the pick up appointment. I accept local checks, cash, Venmo, PayPal or all major credit cards. 6% PA sales tax will be charged on formal wear alterations. Alterations must be paid for in full before any dress leaves my shop.
